Quality for the world

Oberstenfeld

Company headquarters is in Oberstenfeld near Stuttgart in South-West Germany.

Who we are
PROTEC was founded in 1984 and has since become one of the most innovative and outstanding manufacturers of X-ray film processors. In order to be able to play a major role in the digital growth market too, PROTEC has been expanding its activities into this segment. Since 2001 we deal intensively with the subject of digital systems and software for medical imaging. Whether analogue or digital: an important factor of success for our company is the concentration on the respective market requirements and developments.

Thanks to the dedication of a professional and remarkable team of staff, the conventional and digital systems for medical imaging manufactured in Oberstenfeld are now in demand in over 100 countries around the world. Of course, more than this is needed to achieve the proud export share of more than 90% – cooperation with strong partners. We can rely on our world-wide dealer network. As a global player we are also represented at all important international trade fairs. Regular contact and exchanges with dealers and customers provide us with valuable information for the continual improvement of both our products and services.

Growth market China
Only those who recognise changes in the market in good time and react quickly can play a leading role. Just as we didn't hesitate to face the challenges of the digital market in 2001, we secured ourselves a place in the growth market China as early as in 1994. Since the founding of PROTEC ASIA, we have been making PROTEC known in China from our Hong-Kong base, developing and securing new market shares for "Quality made in Germany".
